NRFA Goes PINK
Each October, the Neuse River Futbol Alliance invites you to join our club as we #GOPINK for the month.
The Alliance Awareness store has items for sideline and match play. We are encouraging our players to #GOPINK on the field before and during the games. The awareness socks can be worn in lieu of the red and blue uniform socks, #KickCancer shirts can be worn for warm-ups prior to games. We also invite our parents, friends, and families to show their support on the sideline and around our community, #KickCancer shirts are available to everyone. The store is open until September 22nd, so shop now and be ready for Awareness Month. Our club goal is to raise $2500 through our store, with proceeds from the Alliance Awareness store being donated to the Johnston Health Angel Fund.
Neuse River Cup Boys
Since 1990, high school boys’ soccer in Johnston County has included a fall county-wide tournament. This tournament first began as the Smithfield Herald Cup and in more recent years, it was known the JUSA Cup. The Cup is now moving under the stewardship of Neuse River Futbol Alliance, with hopes of bringing in schools from all areas within our alliance, including Eastern Wake County, Wilson County, and Wayne County. The Neuse River Cup supports our “many communities, one alliance” mission and commitment as we strive to bring high-quality soccer and player development to all the communities we serve in the Neuse River area of North Carolina.
We’re grateful to our Neuse River Cup Sponsors: Presenting Sponsor Nationwide; additional sponsors Johnston Health, Clarity Vision, Mooring Dental, Dick’s Sporting Goods, High Point Audiological, and Michael Barnes, Financial Advisor, Gaulden & Associates
We look forward to returning in 2022!

Annual Kick Or Treat Celebration
Each year, NRFA and the Town of Knightdale host a Trunk or Treat. In 2021, dozens of teams, companies and organizations came together to create the largest event to date!
Hundreds of residents across Wake and Johnston counties attended this popular event. Local police and fire stations were on hand to meet with kids and pass out candy.
The evening also included food trucks, music, an outdoor movie and fun soccer games!
